Internal liaisons and Breathwork
In 1993 I attended the Association for the Lecture of Psychology Humanist in Indianapolis. I was exposed for the first time to two methods of powerful cure: Breathwork and the Internal Liaison. Little did I know to the time that I would continue to use these two for my own process of cure and upright finally the two in my work with the customers. As a psychothedrapeute and a this of breathworker are my desire more deep to help customers in to listen more deeply to their authentic one oneself. The voice of the authentic one is automatically a subtle voice that easily can be cluttered so out by the duties or pushed aside until later (later never comes a lot time). Internal liaisons and Breathwork are two of the better manners than I know reconnecter with this authentic one oneself.
Internal liaison
Internal liaison was developed by Dr. Erika Chopich and Dr. Margaret Paul. It first was presented in their book The cure of Your Aloneness. The process evolved and Dr. Margaret Paul continued to publish Internal liaison and his last book Do I must Renounces M'Etre MYSELF Liked By God? One of the words often let us hear us if and let us say is "You have really love you before you can like really another". The question is, how done you that? Qu'a-t-il the air of really to like itself? Do we have the role models for what it seems to like towards ourselves? If we had not parents that liked themselves the it are difficult to learn ourselves to do this. Our parents could have liked us and of others but not very affectionate to itself.
Internal liaison offers a road card on how to create an internal relation that likes and of support. The this is based on a six processes of step that can be used through the day more deeply to connect with the oneself and a witty connection. One of the objectives of Internal Liaison are to develop an Adult to stretch internal that cares for the authentic one oneself. In the Internal Liaison the authentic one automatically is referred to as the Child. We tend more to be opened, caring for and compassionate with a part of we that we look at as a child that as an adult. Also seen it on this part as a child helps us to understand as this is a party to stretch of us that needs our attention, our love and our protection. A lot of no one have not an Adult to stretch internal because they never received themselves liking the care of their parents and/or that their parents did not like and did not do the role model this. Most of the people tend to work of an aspect of injured enfant-adulte, a part of them that is modeled after their parent behavior towards them. This adult injured child has hundreds of false convictions that were learned from the parents and other caregivers. The six major false convictions that have tendency to be the most current ones are:
1. There is something poorly with me. I am disgusting, more unworthy, more inadequate, more defective in certain respects.
2. I am powerless on how I feel. The other people or outside the events are responsible to do me happy or dissatisfied.
3. The other sensations of the people are more important than mine, and I am responsible of their sensations.
4. I can check that of others think about me, to feel me of me, and how they treat me.
5. For others to withstand' the check on me is essential to my integrity.
6. I cannot check the pain, the malaise, the fear, the injury, sorrow, anger, the disconnection of others, boredom, disappointment, shame or aloneness.
These false convictions of the injured enfant-adulte create a lot of bothers the two internally and in the relations with of others. When there is to like internal non-Adult that the injured enfant-adulte is responsible of the system. If you can imagine your internal system as a bus and the injured enfant-adulte (that tends to be the age that it learned the false conviction, we to allow saying 7 old years) drives the bus and the Internal Child, the authentic one oneself, is curled in top in to have it rear seat on for the dear life! A lot of persons live their lives this manner, working of a perspective of injured enfant-adulte. Another consequence of operation of the perspective of injured enfant-adulte is that the people tend to recreate internally it dynamic same that they grew themselves in. We to allow saying that someone constantly was criticized and was said that they were not rather good. There is a good chance that today in their internal relation their adult injured child critic their Internal Child in the same manner. This causes self-esteem and the oneself low continued values that was begun in this childhood of the person. They can count on their parents as the cause of their low self-esteem without realizing that they continue it on the internal level.
The this is a creative process to develop an Adult to stretch internal. A lot of persons have a friend of grandfather or family that liked for them that they use as a role model to develop this. Sometimes they have a witty picture that furnishes a role model to stretch. The this is our work to make the choice to develop this Adult to stretch and then the parent the child the injured adult and the Internal Child. This Adult to stretch can bring by the truth of the false convictions that cause as much pain themselves they go undisputed. When there is to like the Adult present that internal relation likes and of support. Return to our bus picture, imagine an Adult to stretch entering the bus and sharp the injured enfant-adulte on the shoulder and saying, "I am here now, you should not done this big work. I can drive and can take the good care of you and the Internal Child. You can relax and can loosen". Sometimes the people will back up to do the work child internal and think that the it is stupid. The this can be serviable for them to think about the child as the authentic one oneself. I find that the people more resistant to the idea are often the people that need him the more. Internal liaison facilitator Nancy Weston divided with me the following declaration: "The this is while entering into the softness that we strong growing".
Breathwork
The breathing was used for year thousands as a way of personal development and crazy witty. One of the older Manuals of yoga dating back to return 4000 years are the Shiva Sutras. The this is a manual on how to breathe to become centered. Pranayama is the yoga term for Breathwork. Prana means the energy of life and the means of yama to lengthen. The practice of pranayama is a means to improve the life energy by lengthening or deepen the breath. The old yogis probably were the first one to discover the relation between the breathing and the mental/emotional states. They noted that the certain forms of breathing evoked corresponding mental states. The irregular breathing and not very deep was seen to have for result of the disturbances of spirit, the emotion and the body. The breathing smooths, relaxed and full was seen as an accompaniment of a calm spirit.
In the west, the psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich German emerged in the first party of the last century as a pioneer in the psychology field with his therapeutic usage of breathing. It was a first associate of Sigmund Freud and was a pioneer of the entire field of body centered therapy. One of observations of Reich was that the people tended to develop that it called the held adorns bullets. The held adorns bullets is when we protect ourselves from the sensations and painful experiences while withdrawing itself and erect the defenses. These defenses can take the muscular chronic tension form. It noticed that when a customer had a significant breakthrough in the analysis there was often a relacchement accompanying in muscular tension. Reich noticed that to harden muscular reduced the series completes vitality. Reich observed that the breathing always was compromised when a person erected the armor. When the sensations were held in, the breath was held in. It had its patients go to bed and breathe deeply by their mouths. As the breathing deepened and muscle tensions relaxed, there corresponded often relacchements of deep emotion. The customers would cry, would yell, would laugh or would shake in the fear that had been held in the body.
One of the most of the recent excrescences of efforts of innovative Reich are Rebirthing. To summer Rebirthing developed by Leonard Orr by its own personal experiences as it inhaled his bathtub. Modern Breathwork of day is various with the styles including Holotropic, Intedgratif and Radiance to name someone. In the work that I do with the customers I have the customer goes to bed and inhales full connected breathes. As they breathe they will have the various sensations of body. The examples could be a pain in a leg, stinging in hand, the contraction in the chest. The body can feel hot or cold, with numbness or flows sensations. As they continue to breathe and become present to this than arrives in their body, the emotions can appear. This can be sadness, the fear, sorrow, the solitude or the anger of the passed or present. The customer can breathe then in the sensation and allows completely to be expressed for him. They can express the sensation while crying, the scream, shaking their body, striking a cushion, verbalizing the unspoken sensations etc.
Every person expresss it or itself in a different manner. The it is important to continue to breathe while to express the emotion if it completely can be relaxed body. The this is in this moment that they are connected to their authentic one oneself, their Internal Child. The child speaks to us by the body. Often at the end of the meeting people are astonished with what appeared and says, "I never knew that that was the interior of me". ; This can be a disconnection example with the Body/Authentic Child/The oneself. If there was a true continuous connection there would be not surprise.
When we neglect the child (the body) tend ourselves to obtain from the noisier messages and noisier: the bends of poorly of back minor in our back going out and we are incapable to move ourselves. It takes the time to learn that the message is and the this is well the value the effort. The child/body wants we to be healthy, the body and in the balance. The it is important to use processes as the Liaison and Internal, any Breathwork process that can approach you to your authenticity in the moment. The this is by this to listen deep it itself body/l' child/authentic oneself, and replying to what is learned, that we construct a relation to stretch internal that nourishes ourselves.
